Below are some photographs from our trip to the photographers gallery in London, we went to the exhibition, a Feast For Your Eyes, we used pictures with holes cut into them as viewfinders to take photographs with. We later took photos in Trafalgur square London.

The photo above was taken in the 1840s, a few years after the invention of the first camera. These camera's would need long exposure times (around a minute) and so needed to be completely still which is why it's on a tripod. Photos were mostly taken at ground level and at a forward facing angle. However in the 1920s smaller portable cameras that ran of film revolutionised photography for ever. People took photos in more places then ever before. More angles could be used as they weren't restricted by tripods.
